Design Process:
​
After we agree to work together, I send you a short questionnaire about your book. You'll answer questions about your preferences or ideas about the cover, imagery, themes, likes, and dislikes.
​
Once I get a general idea of what your book is about and what you're looking for, I'll set to work to create a series of sample covers for us to look at and talk about. One might be the absolute best choice right away (it's happened!) Or we will talk about what we like and don't like, about each one and I will go back to the design board to refine the samples and narrow down the choices.
Once you have a working design for your cover. You'll get your promotional images so you can start telling everyone about your forthcoming book!

After your final edits are in, the final number of pages is known, and it's time to upload your book, KDB will generate a template specific to YOUR BOOK. You will download this template and email it to me. I will move your project to the front of the line and work to complete your full cover for print as quickly as possible.

ISBN and SKU that you find on the back cover of Amazon printed books get added during the printing process and a space is left for those in the design process.

You provide all PROOFREAD copy and reader reviews.
If you are using your imprint logo, you will need to provide a high-resolution PNG or JPG of your logo as well as the imprint information you wish to include on the cover.
​
Hardcovers are an upcharge to be DETERMINED depending on the printer. It is rare for Self-published books to profit from hardcover printings, so this is not often done.
